1. Acceptance

By creating an account on shipMeThisJob, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

shipMeThisJob is a job discovery and application tracking platform. We aggregate publicly available job listings from company career pages and provide tools to manage your application pipeline.

The service is currently in alpha. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice.

3. Accounts

  • Registration is invite-only during the alpha phase
  • You must provide a valid email address
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure
  • One account per person
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to access other users' data
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute the platform's interface or data
  • Use automated tools to interact with the service beyond normal browser usage
  • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others
  • Submit malicious content including but not limited to XSS payloads, SQL injection, or scripts designed to exfiltrate data
  • Perform unauthorized security testing, vulnerability scanning, or penetration testing without explicit written permission
  • Flood endpoints with automated requests (rate limit evasion, credential stuffing, spam signups)
  • Attempt to exploit, manipulate, or interfere with the platform's authentication, session management, or monitoring systems

5. Intellectual Property

The shipMeThisJob platform, including its design, code, branding, and interface, is the property of its creator. All rights reserved.

Job listing data is sourced from publicly accessible company career pages. We do not claim ownership of job listing content.

Your personal data (notes, contacts, statuses) remains yours. We do not claim ownership of content you create within the platform.

6. No Guarantees

  • The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee uptime, data accuracy, or availability
  • Job listings may be outdated, incomplete, or no longer available
  • During alpha, data may be reset with advance notice

7. Limitation of Liability

shipMeThisJob is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to missed job opportunities, data loss, or service interruptions.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed immediately.

We may disable or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including but not limited to accounts involved in security exploitation, automated abuse, or malicious content injection. Termination is immediate and includes revocation of active sessions.

Disabled accounts retain data but cannot sign in. If you believe your account was disabled in error, contact us at hello@shipmethisjob.dev.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or the changelog.
